100 Monkeys has a number of upcoming gigs. They are playing at Twi-con, so if you are going, you’ll have a chance to see them there. However, you could get to see them twice if you are in Dallas for the convention.

The band has a show booked at the Palladium in Dallas on Saturday, August 1 at 8:30pm. Now it’s more than just a concert, it’s also the Official LIVE cd release concert. I sighed when I saw the cruiser in the driveway and pulled on the long-sleeve shirt I’d left on the passenger seat. Charlie had clearly beaten me back home and had probably already ordered pizza. I trudged up the porch steps and walked inside.

“Charlie,” I called, “if you give me twenty minutes I can make spaghetti and salad.”

The house was entirely too quiet.

I froze in place with my hand still on the doorknob, listening as hard as I could, even sniffing the air for the scent of alcohol. “Charlie?”

One of my top five favorite books, one of my top two favorite musicals...I'm obsessed. Fantine is one of my favorite fictional characters ever...which is funny, because everyone knows Cosette or Eponine.

Same with Jehan Prouvaire. I am HIGHLY in love with Jehan Prouvaire. He's my biggest fictional crush...and no one knows who he is. But he's a poet and a musician and speaks four languages and he's shy but incredibly strong and masculine when he needs to be and-

*swoons* I'm just in love. Which is cool because I've never once had to fight over him. Everyone wants Marius or Enjolras or OCCASIONALLY Combferre or Courfreyac (I am SO proud of myself for spelling that correctly), but Jehan Prouvaire is by far my favorite.

So I can't sleep. And I'm watching Little Mermaid. And I'm happy. Yet sleepy. But, as I was telling Sarah tonight (this morning?), I'm nocturnal. I literally can't sleep until the sun is up.

(Oh God, here come the waterworks. I cry EVERY TIME Ariel sings Part of Your World. I've seen this movie how many times?)

PHEW, now that that's over...

I honestly have nothing to say.

OH! I don't think I'm visiting Johnette anymore. My mom made plans for us to visit my family in Staten Island without telling me, so I can't go on Saturday...and if I don't go on Saturday, I have no way to get there...

So...I guess that's good? I REALLY want to see Johnette, though. So I'm more sad than relieved. But I guess it'll have to be another day.

*shrugs* What can ya do?
